Victims’ Voice Durham CIC

Victims’ Voice Durham CIC is a ‘‘by and for’ company – managed by people with lived experience of domestic abuse, for victim-survivors of domestic abuse, primarily in County Durham.

Mission

Our mission is to amplify the voices of women and child domestic abuse victim-survivors, challenge systemic barriers, and drive meaningful change. We provide safe spaces, share lived experiences, and collaborate with communities and professionals to build a more just and informed society.

Vision

By embracing a domestic abuse informed approach, we will use our expertise from lived experience to raise awareness of domestic abuse, improve physical and emotional wellbeing within our participants and create a safe and supportive environment for women and families, empowering them to live life free from abuse.

Our Services

These are the services we currently provide for women victim-survivors of domestic abuse. We also offer 1 to 1 consultations with clients to help identify support needs.

Drop-in Sessions

We provide regular drop-in sessions at community venues around the county that are safe, confidential and non-judgmental for victim-survivors.

Voice Programme

We deliver the Voice empowerment programme to women affected by domestic abuse, supporting them in their recovery.

Our Training

We provide training on domestic abuse online or in person for victim-survivors, community organisations, commercial businesses and statutory agencies.

Online Workshops

We design and deliver bespoke educational workshops to raise awareness of domestic abuse. Workshops are available to purchase online on-demand, or can be delivered within the local community.

Training for Professionals

We provide specialised training programmes that equip professionals with the skills to support victim-survivors effectively.
